How You Can Help The ALO Cultural Foundation is dedicated to building stronger, healthier communities through social investment. We are pleased you are interested in supporting that mission. DONATE Your generosity will leave a lasting impact on so many lives. ALO Cultural Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Gifts to The Foundation can be made in many ways. We encourage you to consult with your tax advisor or financial planner for the options that best suit your needs. HOW TO MAKE A GIFT Gifts of Cash A cash gift is the most straightforward and common way to support the ALO Cultural Foundation. Cash gifts are deductible for federal income tax purposes up to a limit of 50 percent of your adjusted gross income if you itemize deductions. To the extent your cash gifts in a single year exceed this limit, you may carry over the excess for up to five additional years. Benefactor Gift Many who express interest in the ALO Cultural Foundation deeply connect to a single story or cause. Whether it be securing shoes for children in an orphanage or scholarships for women who desperately need to further their skills, your help goes a long way. We welcome the opportunity to target your generosity to the exact program that most deeply touches your heart. After reviewing our programs and stories of the less fortunate, please let us know where you would like your funds channeled. Endowment Fund The ALO Foundation Endowment Fund was established to build long-term stability so that we may educate, empower and enlighten members of disadvantaged global communities for generations to come. In building long-term stability and secure streams of income, we ensure that we will meet the increasing demands of our humanitarian programs. Moreover, we will be able to expand our work through donations that deliver their impact over longer periods of time. By endowing The Foundation, you are counted among an esteemed and loyal group of donors who are making a dramatic impact to support the fundamental needs of a vital mission. We welcome you to make provisions in your will or estate plan to name the ALO Cultural Foundation as a beneficiary. You may also support our endowment as an individual, an organized group, a corporation or through corporate matching gifts. The Foundation also accepts gifts of stock, real estate and gifts of life insurance. A life income gift may enable you to secure financial security for yourself, family and friends while reducing income and estate taxes - all while providing future support for the ALO Cultural Foundation.
